Due to the potential spread of the Corona Virus, all SKIL Offices will be closed to visitors and the general public until further notice. Independent Strides has experienced staff dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and respecting the dignity of each individual we serve. We offer patients a comprehensive array of in-home health care services, including skilled nursing, home health aides, nutrition services, speech therapy, and referrals for Independent Living Coordinator.

Independent Strides nurses provide evaluation, instruction and supervision of care and services, medication supervision, wound care, patient and family teaching, injections, cardiac care, prenatal and postpartum care, colostomy care, IV therapy, enteral and parenteral feeding  as well as post-operative care.

Independent Strides aides will assist you in personal care, meal preparation and feeding, assistance with other activities that promote safety and independence and other procedures as specified in the written health care plan and supervised by the professional staff.

Office Hours: Monday thru Friday 8 am - 5 pm
A registered nurse is available to staff during the time staff are providing services in the home.

Possible reasons for Home Health Care are:

Care related to a newly diagnosed illness such as diabetes, heart or lung disease, cancer, or others.

Follow-up care from surgery, stroke, illness or injury .

Care for new problems or worsening of an illness or condition.

Teaching patient/family members how to provide care or how to operate and maintain medical equipment in the home.

Interim services for a terminal illness.
